Jerry McAdoo, 38, Bowling Green, Ky., welds together a wagon for the landscaping crew at Western Kentucky University. “The flower people don’t like to use gas vehicles so we have to make them a wagon to carry their flowers in.” he said. McAdoo works in the Auto Shop on campus, but is often given odd jobs.
